TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

1. Online Sales of Product

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear onscreen. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us.  We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. 

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.  If the goods ordered are not available, you will be notified by email (or WhatsApp) and you will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.

Delivery

Under normal circumstances delivery will take place 3-5 working days from the time your order goes through.  Delivery times may vary due to unforseen circumstances.

Shipping & Cost
  • Qpress door to door service $4.50
  • Free local delivery within Singapore for purchases amount of $200 and above.
  • Overseas delivery via DHL or SpeedPost.  We are not responsible for lost packages during transit, customs delays, taxes and duties. 

 

2. Bicycle Servicing & Repairs

16B Cycle will carry out the work to your bicycle as shown on the work order created for you when you dropped off your bicycle in our store.

Prior to carrying out any work, our mechanics will carry out an initial inspection of your bike; have a quick chat about the condition of your bike and what you’re looking to be done; if possible, we will give you an estimated price and turn around time.

We will not undertake any additional work or replace any parts without your consent. However, if you choose not to follow our recommendations, we cannot guarantee that your bicycle will work as it should and 16B Cycle accepts no liability for any defects arising with the bicycle as a result of not having this work undertaken.

There may be occasions where it is necessary for us to sub-contract the work (or part thereof) to a third party. However, 16B Cycle will remain responsible for the actions of any sub-contractor and this will not affect your statutory rights.

Completion of work

We will endeavor to complete any work to your bicycle as soon as possible and within the estimated time scales that we have provided you with. However, there may be times when this is not possible and time for completion of this work will not be of the essence.

Price & Payment

The price for the work (including any additional work which you have authorized us to carry out) will be as quoted to you by our staff.

Payment in full is required on completion of any work undertaken to your bicycle and prior to the return of your bicycle. 16B Cycle reserves the right to retain your bicycle until you have paid in full.

Collection of Bicycles

You must collect your bicycle on the agreed collection date, unless otherwise agreed.  If you fail to do so, we will provide you with a written notice (which includes email/ WhatsApp) notifying you that you have 21 days to collect your bike, failing which we may sell the bicycle to recover costs.

16B Cycle is entitled to deduct any outstanding payment due from you for the work from the proceeds of any sale of your bicycle, together with any costs of sale, and if applicable, we will then send you a payment for the remaining proceeds of the sale.

Warranty

Our servicing is covered by a 3-month warranty and any new parts fitted are covered by their manufacturer warranty.  Our warranty is limited to the services described in the service description.

Risk

Any personal items left on the bicycle when it is provided to 16B Cycle are left at the customer’s own risk and 16B Cycle accepts no liability for any loss or damage to these items. We recommend you remove any such items prior to dropping off your bicycle.

Liability

We are providing our services for domestic and private users.  If you use the bike for any commercial and business use, we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

General

16B Cycle amends these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time of the work being undertaken apply to the Contract between you and us.
